Allspice is a small hobby kennel.  We have at stud BISS AM/CAN CH. Hannalore Tiger Rag. He is a multiple Specialty/Breed/Group Winner.  His father and grandfather are both ROM's.  He is OFA GOOD, VetGen Clear (vWD), Eyes and Thyroid Clear. He is producing sound (in body and mind) beautiful puppies.

We also have as one of our bitches Kylene Boston After Dark, a bi-black daughter out of Ch. Ashburton Sugarloaf Moonlit by Ch. Montage The Last Boy Scout.  She is a sound elegant bitch who will be going out soon.  We only breed to produce something. We do not breed often.  We do not breed just to have puppies.  We do get back puppies from people who breed to Tiger.  I love growing out puppies and having fun with them. I am a member of Harrisburg SSC, Interstate SSC, Northern NJSSC and the American Shetland Sheepdog Association.  I am involved in Sheltie rescue through ASSA.

All puppies are guaranteed against hereditary problems. We sell all pets on spay/neuter contracts and limited registration.  I like to keep involved with my puppies by getting phone calls about how they are doing.  All puppies sold from Allspice will be taken back for any reason. They always have a home here if needed.  Allspice has puppies in pet, obedience and show homes.  Visit our WebPage for more information.

I am not a breeder. I have shown my shelties in obedience, breed, conformation and agility. I always thought shelties were so beautiful, but never thought I would own one. However, our lab/coonhound loved them so much, I thought perhaps we should get one for her. Well, now I do not think I could ever live without a sheltie for a companion. We have had shelties since 1990. We also have a lab, which the shelties think is their personal sheep. Shelties are lovely, loving, intelligent dogs, a bit barky, most times. But, if you get one from a good breeder you will find you have the best friend you could ever want.

We have been in Shelties about 28 years and in that time we have finished many Champions and Obedience Titles. We do not breed often and usually have a waiting list for puppies. We try to support you after the sale with grooming, boarding and obedience training. Donna and I teach Obedience and Handling and show our own dogs in Breed and Obedience. We are active members of the HSSC, Harrisburg Kennel Club and the American Shetland Sheepdog Association. As you can see by the attached photo our dogs are NOT spoiled just pampered a little. You can contact us at Ed & Donna.  The club would be happy for you to attend our monthly meeting and meet our members.

Heart Lake Shelties is located on 60 acres in northeastern Pennsylvania.  Home of Am/Can Gairloch's King Of Hearts "Simba", A.S.S.A. Award of Merit recipient as well as several other AKC champions and pointed Shelties.

We strive for quality Shelties for show and companions.   All of our breeding age dogs are fully tested with good/excellent, normal and clear results (eyes,OFA hips, vWD and thyroid).  We normally have around six adult shelties allowing us the time to spend with our dogs and truly appreciate them.

I have enjoyed many aspects of owning and breeding Shelties.  From Conformation to Obedience, to simply playing and caring for new puppies are all a thrill for me.  To learn more about Heart Lake Shelties, please visit our home on the web: http://home.teisprint.com/~sheltyhtlk/

At the present time my husband Jeff and I share our lives with 7 shelties. Four sables, one tri, 1 bi black  and 1 blue. I'm active in pet therapy, conformation, agility, rally-o, tracking, obedience and freestyle obedience. My primary interest is in pet therapy as I have been doing this for the past 20 years and find it extremely rewarding. All of my shelties have passed their CGC (Canine Good Citizens test) and TDI (Therapy Dog International) tests, with Teddy, Katie, and Parker achieving TDI's highest ranking of TDIAOV (Therapy Dog International Active Outstanding Volunteer). The others are working towards their TDIA (intermediate) titles. I volunteer with the Harrisburg State Hospital both as a pet therapist and as 1 of the 2 evaluators for their Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program. In addition I am in charge of the York County Dog Training Club's therapy program.  We also attend various retirement facilities in the area as time allows since I am also a long time member of the Penns Woods Therapy Dog Club.

I am also a member of the York Dog Training Club, the Obedience Training Class of Harrisburg and an American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA) member. We strongly support sheltie rescue both locally and nationally, and our home wouldn't be the same without a rescue sheltie in residence. Our current rescue is Lacey, a blue merle who turns 14 in April, 2005. All my dogs titles are earned together as a team, owner handled.

In residence here at Ilkota are the following:
Teddy - Am/Can/UKC AGII BIMBS Ch. Legends Tresta Future Vision AXP,AJP,OA, OAJ, R1, TDIAOV CGC

Guaranteed with health certificate from vet, and also for temperament. If a genetic defect would occur, dog would be replaced. We do not give a general guarantee for everything as we have no control over how or what a person does with a dog after they purchase one. Our dogs have exceptionally good temperaments and are all excellent with children. Over the years we have sold many for mentally and/or physically handicapped children and they have done very well.

  Diane Whitehill
  e-mail:  Diane Whitehill
Diane has been an owner and lover of Shetland sheepdogs for 20 years. She credits her love of the breed to her first Sheltie, Shelby. "We took some obedience classes together for fun, but never competed."

In October 1995, Chase (Prinhill Spirit in the Dark) jumped into her life. In 1996, they began a group competition obedience class. Chase earned his AKC Companion Dog title in 1998, followed by his Companion Dog Excellent title in 1999.

Diane and Chase were also bitten by the agility bug and began competing in agility in 1999. In 2002, Diane and Chase reached their agility goal of Master Excellent Jumper.

As of February 2004, Chase has earned five obedience titles: CD, CDX, Rally 1 - MCL, Rally 2 - CL, and UCD, plus his Canine Good Citizen certificate. He has also earned nine AKC agility titles: MXJ, AX, AXJ, OA, OAJ, NA, NAJ, NAP, NAJP. Diane and Chase are continuing to train for rally obedience and musical freestyle competitions.

The newest addition to the Whitehill's canine family arrived in August of 2004 when Corey (Prelude's Hill Correspondent) bounced into their lives. Diane is currently training Corey for future competition in agility and obedience.

Diane has attended obedience seminars given by Gerianne Darnell, Betsy Scapicchio and Linda Brennan; agility seminars given by Diane Bauman, Bud Houston and Trisha Stall and musical freestyle seminars by Richard Curtis, Carolyn Scott and Diane Kowalski.

When Diane is not teaching high school, competing with Chase, and training Corey, she enjoys teaching agility classes for
Bella Vista Training Center. Diane is also a member of York County Dog Training Club. Diane and husband Doug share their home with one other Sheltie, Jazz, and their cockatiel, Spike.
